August 2009: Justin Jacobs’ ‘06 Coupe

Having always been a fan of sports cars, I purchased my first in 1998 (1998 V6 Chevrolet Camaro). I loved the car, it was fast (300 Stock HP) and while I didn't customize it, it was a great looking car in of itself. But as usual I was having "TOO MUCH FUN" with it, and it was time to let it go… Fast Forward 10 years later….

My name is Justin Jacobs, I am CEO and Graphics Designer for RPM-3D, Inc. "The Leader In 3D Motorsports Graphics". I recently relocated to North Carolina (Concord), from South Central Kansas (Medicine Lodge).

Designing Race Cars and Graphics for a Living is hard work, and after a long day there is nothing better than playing hard...

My Eleanor 2006 Mustang started like my designs do: with a sketch, an idea, or a dream... I started with the base Mustang body, added a new front end, dual side exhausts, window louvers, and side scoops... Then of course she needed new horse-shoes, 20" ones to be exact. Once the exterior was complete, I started in with 4:10 Racing Gears, T-Loc (Posi-Trac Rear End), Cold Air Intake (which is installed in conjunction with the Air-Ram), and then an SCT LiveWire Tuner with BamaChips Racing and Torque Tunes. A few other exterior items (fuel door, shorty antenna, hood pins, and even a scratch here and there).

The Next step is a Full Decal Body Wrap of the Car, (Currently its Satin Silver). Soon (when I can afford it), it will be Black with Realistic Flames (as seen in the Wrap Section of the Site below).

This is not only my first "Ford", this is my first time customizing a car... and it has been a dream... not only to drive, but in my first car show (‘08 SuperStang Fest in Rockingham, NC) this car won 2nd best of show and beat out 80 other Mustangs including "Roush, Saleen and Cobra models".

This car is a show-stopper everywhere I take it, from people stopping to take photos while I feed her, to people taking photos while I am three wide in traffic!

DSC_5651Being a Mustang Owner is like being in an exclusive club, you park where others park theirs, you travel in herds sometimes, and sometimes you are the lone horse, but whenever you are around other Mustangs, they have to check each other out, no matter how "stock or modified", you have to see them up-close.

I love my mustang so much I created a website for her: http://www.rpm3dmotorsports.com/RPM3DMUSTANG/

Everyone asks "What kind of mustang is that?" I say simply.... Its Eleanor Re-Born...
