Ride along with a beginning driver on a couple of laps of CMP. These are his first laps without his instructor, only his second event in the car, and first time at CMP. He is driving a 1991 Mustang coupe, 351 5spd, track car.
Carolina Regional Mustang Club has been hosting Performance Driving Schools for the past 12 years. CRMC has always made safety the number one priority, emphasizing techniques that will 
make you a safer, more confident driver on the highway. You will learn the limits and capabilities of your car in a controlled environment.
While the Performance Driving School is a high speed event, it is NOT a racing school!
Drivers are segmented into four run groups from Beginners (D), Novices (C), Intermediates (B) to Advanced (A) based on prior experience. All students in Beginner, Novice and Intermediate run groups are paired with an instructor (optional upon request for Advanced students) who will ride
in-car with you during each session. CRMC also offers a discounted registration fee for high school and college students with current school ID, and Active Duty Military with ID. We also gear the instruction to the needs of young, 16 & 17 year old, licensed drivers.
The CRMC staff has developed a schedule to ensure that each run group gets the maximum amount of track time possible. We guarantee more miles and more smiles! In addition to the Performance Driving School, CRMC hosts an Open Track Day for Instructors and Advanced Drivers (with documented advanced driver status) on Friday May 31st. Join CRMC for an all day open session to log laps and hone your skills for $150 (volunteer instructors only $100!). You must be registered for the weekend school to get this special rate. Simply the best deal around for a day of track time!
